Seriously?

I saw the pundits complaining how the Republican convention was a bunch of "rich white folks" and still lacked diversity or were a bunch of elitist snobs. Seriously?

You could tell - looking over that sea of faces that those people were rich? I have a friend there and she makes about 25,000 a year and is a single mom. I saw humble black men and women there - Lynn Swann!! (well, ok, he's rich). I saw retirees, I saw military men and women. I saw several faces that appeared hispanic and many who appeared asian.

Oh, and I saw women - many women.

I saw the old, the young and the inbetween of all colors and creeds at the Republican National Convention.

But nowhere did I see a sign that said "I make over $250,000.00 a year, Yay me!" Nowhere did I see a button that said "I'm a rich guy, Yay me!"

But, during the democratic convention I saw celeb after celeb after celeb. In fact, I saw some of the richest men and women on the planet there. And it is no secret what they make.

Who are the elitist snobs now? Same old drivel - nothing to back it up.
