Thanks for the good thoughts. My Grandma has diverticulosis and/or crohns but she will be fine. She gets out of the hospital tomorrow.
My big dog Remington wandered off on Weds and I just got a call that he was safe and sound with someone who lived nearby. The Boy just got back from picking him up and is thrilled. I have to say, I too am thrilled. I missed him, even though I've not been home. He is quite possibly the best dog I've ever had.
I'm still in NY until Tuesday and then back again next week for the foreseeable future.
I had a wonderful weekend spending time with Erica! She is sweetness and we had great fun catching up and drinking cocktails and oggling well proportioned, easy on the eyes men - some of them Navy boys. . .
Anyway, New York is loverly. I miss my boy but I will see him Tuesday night for four whole days . . . whoopie! I need to shop for some suits as I've appeared to have gotten fatter. Oh joy. I would rather stick pins in my eye than shop. Oh well.
Oh, and lest I be remiss . . . I can totally take a hint - but I typically like my "fuck-offs" to be plain and clear - you know, for future reference. . .

Posted by: Grandy at May 4, 2009 07:27 PMGreat news about your Grandma...too bad you can't quicken her recovery even more by letting her see some of those Navy guys!
Posted by: Mrs. Who at May 4, 2009 10:18 PM*LOL* My problem with checking out the Navy (or Army, Marines, etc) is that most of them are young enough to be my son!!
I'm with you on the shopping,,,HATE it !

Glad your grandma is OK! Good Grief. How scary to be sick when 84.
That boy and that dog... Love that.

And whats the problem with being old enough to be their mothers? They are in their prime, your in your prime, I just don't see the problem? Well of course unless your related to them, then it could be a problem
