Christmas Came Early

The Boy was helping to decorate our Charlie Brown Christmas tree when he discovered something wriggling and writhing nearby.

Her name is Hazel. We think she's kinda cute, how about you? She is the newest edition to the Oddybobo family.

The Boy loves her and she seems to love him too.

Crazy woman. Definitely crazy. GRIN. The puppy is beautiful. Looks like you have a happy son as well.

Hey, don't let the boy get too attached, then he'll be upset when you cook it in a couple of years!

I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Jeez!

I love the new addition! Beautiful dog! As you can perhaps tell, I am a dog lover to the max.

Old age recently claimed the puppy that my 24-year-old son found when he was in 3rd grade. It wasn't until "Spicey" was near death that my boy confessed that, although it's true the pup did indeed followed him home from school, he actually carried her most of the way.

Prominently displayed in our bedroom hallway is a picture of a very happy eight-year-old boy lovingly petting his new dog. That love never moved him to clean up dog poop in the back yard, mind you, but still the love of a boy for his dog is a grand thing.

Awwwwwwwwww, that's just too darn precious. You're a good mom, Oddy!

Ya know, that second picture looks like you photoshopped the wrong head on the dog's body :-)
