Sleep Talking

My little bundle of joy and energy talks in his sleep. It is really quite comical and brings a confused smile to my face, for example:

Two days ago the alarm went off at 4:45 a.m. My son, who often can be found sleeping with me, rolls over and says, with eyes firmly closed, "I watch t.v. mommy? Power Rangers mmkay?"

Yesterday, as my husband was leaving for work with a sleeping boy in his arms I heard, "I only want three pieces of gum."

This morning it was "Casey Stinks!" Casey is our dog. The boys says stinks like "stanks" and it is really cute.

I wonder what he will say next. I commented over at Jenna's that when I am asleep I often am treated to the Whoo Hoo song from the Vonage commercial because the boy thinks sleep is overrated. No wonder he doesn't wake when the alarm goes off. He never sleeps!

My boys don't talk in their sleep, but my oldest does sleep with his eyes open, and that is rather disturbing.

Both of my girls talk in their sleep.

It's usually something off the wall, but amusing nonetheless.

I've always thought it very sweet.

My 15 year old daughter STILL talks in her sleep. "Oh, no! I'm not going in there!" and other bad dream kind of things. She laughs, she frets, she giggles. It's very entertaining.

She gets it from me. I once popped my wife in the nose during a nightmare...yeah, that's what it was, a nightmare. I was asleep, and I'm sticking to that story!

Bones talks in his sleep. I attribute it to the fact the boy flat out never shuts up. He got it from his Dad.
