It is no secret to anyone who knows me that I love me some Steelers!
So it is with great appreciation that I tell my guys thanks for a great and memorable game.
To the refs - all the refs of all the games this weekend but the Steelers' refs in particular - you suck, you should all be promptly fired.
I can ref better with my eyes closed!
Posted by Oddybobo at January 16, 2006 10:24 AM | TrackBackCongrats to you and your team! Wish I could have said the same for my team, but I figured that the Panthers would beat them... crap.
Posted by: That 1 Guy at January 16, 2006 11:46 AMWow. Quite unexpected, I might add.
Posted by: Ogre at January 16, 2006 11:50 AMre the refs: Agreed. Especially the Polamalu interception....
blind idiots.
Posted by: caltechgirl at January 16, 2006 03:27 PMSo... what's the history of the "terrible towel" thing?
Posted by: Harvey at January 17, 2006 08:57 AMAmen
I'm flyiing to Dallas on Sunday and I can't wait to go busting up in a Dallas sports club with my Steeler gear on...oh wait maybe not. I don't want to jinx the team by being a jack-ass.
The "Terrible Towel" started as a last minute marketing ploy. I think it was around 1975.
Is there where we insert "Go Broncos!"
Oh wait, that's the other site. Now if I can just find my Steelers #32 jersey before the weekend.
Posted by: Tige at January 17, 2006 03:18 PMMy Dad grew up in latrobe, Pa, so is a huge Steelers fan. My Mom called after the game and said she was worried he was having a stroke after the Bettis fumble, he was so quiet. Thankfully, all turned out well.
Congrats!!!!
My giants suck
