Lost 13 pounds! Whoo Hoo! Alas, that is the only plus side.
Signatures . . . not going well;
Weather . . . better but raining;
Psyche . . . slowly deteriorating into a Britney-like meltdown.
Not the pantiless partying Britney but the head shaving, tear stained, incoherent sobbing Britney only with bigger words . . .
Posted by Oddybobo at February 21, 2007 10:36 AM | TrackBackBigger words and a better heart. Damn - I was sooo hoping to hear it was going better. But keep pushing. It ain't over yet.....

Signatures... just keep going. With every person you approach you're learning something. It's an investment in the present... and whether you realize it or not, it's a major investment in the future. Sooooo, no matter how many signatures you get, no matter what the end result is, you're embarking on a journey where you will not learn more about yourself, and those around you, you'll learn about your constituency and that information will be valuable to you in the present and the future.
You are an amazing woman, and the feeling of an impending meltdown is understandable given the stress from everything that you're trying to accomplish against challenging odds. You can do it! I know you can, you have it in you to go out there and continue doing the work.
I would like to suggest that you try and find 10 min. everyday where you're not interrupted, where you can slow down and do deep breathing exercises for 1 min, affirm yourself for 3 min, pray for 3 min., and meditate silentlly for 3 min. When I do this I feel more centered and more charged in facing the stresses and challenges of my day. I used a quiet multi-timer at first to get used the timer. I now do it instinctively.
Sending you a great big hug with lots of olove your way.

Posted by: vw bug at February 23, 2007 06:53 AMNothing worth having is easy to get. You are talented and deserving of this goal. Take Michele's advice (I'm going to take it, too!), and then get going again.
Just be sure to wear panties when you go. Please.
