Easter Weekend!

So, my mom was in a pretty bad car accident on Friday. She says it was a "Good Friday" most definately as she was not injured, but should have been. Her car, alas, is a goner.

We dyed eggs, we hunted eggs-IN THE SNOW!, we ate chocolate in bed! - The Easter Bunny was very generous, sunrise services were early and good and refreshing and replenishing and . . . I needed them very much.

Dinner was ham, turkey, mashed taters, easter bread, steamed veggies, strawberry pie and "green stuff" (pistachio pudding salad). I am still dead tired from my overachievers syndrome, and this week is packed with stuff but it is going along nicely.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

Oh, my favorite picture is the first one. Does the crumb-cruncher get the red eyes from Mom or Dad? It's just wrong for it to snow on Easter. Damn that Al Gore and his global-warming. Damn him!

Hope your mom is okay after the crash. I know how much that rattles you around, even if you aren't technically "hurt".

Sounds like Easter turned out wonderfully well otherwise. *grin* Holy cow, look at all those kids!!!

Glad your mom is ok! What a cutie for Easter. He looks great. Very hard to resist his charm I'm sure!

Glad to hear your Mom was okay. I've been in an accident in which my car was totaled, but I was unhurt except for a black eye. But it's still very disconcerting. You drive around on 'heightened alert' for several weeks.

But your Easter celebration looked fabulous!

Glad your Mom is ok!

Looks like the boy had a blast even on the snow, and dinner sounds like it was yummy!

Good Grief! I'm so glad your Mom is OK!!!

Hunting eggs in the snow. That cracks me up. I've never in my life done that...

So glad to hear your mom is ok, that is scary even with no "hurties"

Sounds like you had a great Easter!

The best kind of MVA is the one where no one gets hurt.

Sounds like you had fun, just a hint. Don't use the eggs to make Egg Salad.

White snow on green grass...

Colorful, yet somehow VERY wrong.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm getting the same thing in Wisconsin right now. They're saying 6-9 inches.

Good thing I haven't put the snowblower away yet :-/
