Well, we spent the entire afternoon in the ER.
Two stitches this time! The boy ran into a doorknob! He is a doorknob!
He is ok though. So, I'm recording it here for posterity.

Posted by: caltechgirl at June 5, 2007 07:45 PMAhh, the thrills of raising little boys.
Hope he heals quickly.
Posted by: Mrs. Who at June 5, 2007 08:14 PMAs my boys grew taller, they started to ram their heads into objects that were just above eyebrow-height. Right above their sightline. Things they could run under just months earlier were now just a little too low, but they couldn't see them.
Doorknobs were popular head thumpers.
Odd, since doornobs are so close to... doors!
It's not like they stick waaaaay out there.
Go figure.
Good luck.
Posted by: Roses at June 5, 2007 08:31 PMOh, poor little guy! Hope he's feeling better...!
Posted by: pam at June 5, 2007 08:58 PMTwo stitches... not too bad. The question is will mom recover before he does??? :-)
Posted by: Teresa at June 5, 2007 09:32 PMSo, now we know what happens when the irresistable doorknob meets the immovable doorknob :-)
Posted by: Harvey at June 6, 2007 07:47 AMDoorknobs are VICIOUS!! Vicious and mean!! I hope the boy is feeling much better today...
Posted by: Richmond at June 6, 2007 08:04 AMExcuse me while I choke to death laughing. Did you just call your boy a doorknob?! Oh, God, is that rich!
