Ode to Winter

"It's snowing out stupid! It is not the end of the world as we know it!"

That is my mantra.

So:

- Just because there is a snowflake in the air, you do not have to drive 20 miles per hour on the highway;

- Those brake lights ahead, however, they mean stop;

- If you end up in the ditch because you are an ass, you deserve it and I am going to laugh at you;

- Stay off my donkey if it is icy out because you will be buying me a new car - I prefer large, expensive SUV's;

- I am not friendly when it takes me 2 hours to get to work because you all forgot how to drive when you saw that first snowflake - I'm just saying; and

- If you cannot effectively multitask - PUT THE PHONE DOWN! Seriously!

Oh, yeah, Happy Friday!

Hey, what about the french toast! There must be much French toast!

At least that's what I assume since everyone around here raids the stores any buys up all the bread and milk they can find if anyone even predicts snowfall!

We must live in the same "hood"... You don't know how many times on the way to work Wednesday I wished my truck was equipped with the "photon torpedo" option. Next one I buy... will be. Screw that stun crap, I want them people removed from the gene pool.

"Snow's so pretty"... bullshit.

Whenever it snows my way down South here the least little bit, we shut down. Forget the driving. Even for French toast.

replace snow with rain and you have south florida... nice to know 'those people' are all over the states. Can I move the ones afraid to drive in the rain up to you?

Snow turns perfectly sane people into idiots. I love the grocery stores when they are calling for a snow storm. People act like they have to stock up for a month.
