Houseguests

My adorable brother-in-law and his very charming friend stopped in on their way to Vermont last night.

They left Florida at 9 p.m. on Sunday and got to my home - North of Pittsburgh, PA at about 11:30 p.m. They leave for Vermont this afternoon.

Now, the Boy knew his uncle was coming for a brief stay, and so he took an early nap so he could be awake. True to form, the Boy played Ham as we all hugged and laughed. He was a Ham until 1:30 a.m. when I made him sleep - and by made, I mean I held him down in bed until he stopped jumping around and crashed.

The Brother-in-law brought gifts from a recent trip to Peru. He brought a handwoven hat for the Boy, a llama bottle opener for the Hubby, a beautiful llama wool scarf for me and assorted fun things. One of the first things he did was beg a bumper sticker from me and he put it directly on his car. So to my Florida friends, if you see my bumper sticker way down there - you will know why . . .

I love my brother-in-law. He is a free spirit, he is intelligent, talented and kind and he is cute too. Really, who drives from Cocoa Beach Florida, to Vermont to snowboard for two days and turn around and drive back? Only him.

I'll have to dig up a good pic of him to show him off. Oh . . . and ladies . . . he is 27, single - an amateur snowboarder and surfer - he films and produces freelance commercials when he can and he is damn cute. I'm just saying . . .

"a llama bottle opener"

What's a llama bottle? :-)

Well, obviously, Harvey, it's a llama that can open a beer. The question is, "What do they eat?" And damn, I hope they don't insist on drinking the beer after they open it.
